Dream Worlds
Australian Moving Image
Sanlitun Village Screen
Beijing, China
[2010]
back - Dream Worlds is a public exhibition located on Beijing's largest and most prominent video screen in Sanlitun Village. This highly accessible free exhibition portrays unique and culturally translatable perspectives on intimacy, isolation and the imaginary.
The 3 minute works are drawn from animation, generative media, new media, games aesthetics, contemporary dance, film and video art, producing a poignant, technically sophisticated and richly textured survey of the breath and scope of Australian Visual Art as part of Imagine Australia: the Year of Australian Culture in China,
